Reconciliation
Reconciliation is celebrated in a variety of ways at St. Rose:
Individual Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available in the Historic Chapel every Saturday afternoon from 4:00-4:30 pm. The sacrament may also be celebrated individually by arranging an appointment with the Pastor. To schedule an appointment, call the parish offices at 301-948-7545.
Communal Reconciliation
Non-sacramental communal celebrations of reconciliation are regularly scheduled during Advent and Lent. These celebrations are offered in two forms: one aimed specifically at younger children and the other for a broader assembly of mixed families and adults. Individual confessions are available at the conclusion of the communal celebrations.
Go to the Archdiocese of Washington web site. This will provide a list of downtown parishes offering confessions on a daily basis as well as parishes where foreign-language liturgies are celebrated. Foreign language confessors are generally available at those liturgies.
